I want to publish this blog in print at regular intervals.

I think its important.
This publication is about trying to make a way in this world that may not have ever been.
Getting older is a trip. Trying to hold onto a little corner of community thats burgeoning in every city and select rural areas. All the placeswhere our freaky family may wander. Post pandemic i feel like i’m finding fire w the young folks and stoking the coals of my past lives.
It used to be a lot easier . Apparently it was even easier before i moved to Chicago in 2009 to get involved with art in the most direct way i could find.
Post pandemic many of us are unable to activate, isolated.
My friend Jess Coble likes to say we are "connecting the dots "… I really like that.
Every show and every tour we add a few more connections, a few more people. We make a bit more art. Some of us may join bands together, support each other through life.
The art we make can last forever within this medium of archive, this zine.
Ive talked to peers and elders about this, and feel there is a genuine gap in peoples connection and access to diy arts.
Gen z; they get it! For some folks i notice there is a disconnect between collaboration and spectatorship.
One of the coolest if not best part of noise and diy is the low barrier to entrance.
Make noises, be weird, do it outside or in someones house or a garage!
My friend ralph told me people look up to me because i have established a path thru life that maybe shouldn’t exist. Hop on and enjoy the ride!
